Real Madrid’s young squad travels to Seville tonight with a lot of veterans rested.

Sergio Ramos travels with the young squad to his boyhood club Sevilla which he holds dearly in his heart. Though there have been moments of aggression with a section of Sevilla fans who have booed and abused the defender in the past for taking a penalty against them and celebrating it.

Sergio Ramos has always praised his former club and has supported them against other teams than Real Madrid. He was once famously quoted as saying:

“When I die, cover my body in two flags. One of Real Madrid and the other of Sevilla.”

The ex Sevilla man leads his team to his former home ground Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuain.

The Real Madrid Squad traveling to Seville tonight is as follows:

Goalkeepers:

Kiko Casilla, Luca Zidane

Defenders:

Vallejo, Sergio Ramos, Nacho, Theo, Achraf, Tejero, Quezada

Midfielders:

Casemiro, Llorente, Asensio, Kovacic, Ceballos, Oscar

Forwards:

Benzema, Vazquez, Mayoral

The Real Madrid squad travels without veterans such as Modric, Kroos, Marcelo, Navas, Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Carvajal. The players have been rested and some have been left out due to card accumulation.

This means the penalty taker of the team will be Sergio Ramos if he is in the starting line up.

The last season Sergio Ramos visited Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuain, his side was awarded a penalty and with Cristiano Ronaldo missing the game. The Real Madrid captain took it and scored a Paneka which was in response to the section of fans who booed him for taking the penalty.

Ramos celebrated against them in the way of aggression. Though he apologized for scoring and celebrating, to the other section of fans who supported him and chanted his name in support.

Will the World Cup winner be welcomed home? Will he be booed once again? Chances are he will visit a divided stadium this time as well.

The match tonight will be telecasted live all over the globe by the official broadcasting partners of La Liga. The Kickoff is scheduled for 8:45 PM CET.
