The Real Madrid’s number 7 had picked up a knock earlier this week while trying to score against Barcelona in Camp Nou. Cristiano Ronaldo’s ankle suffered a twist which forced him to an early substitution at halftime.
The medical reports on Tuesday ruled out any possible injury and scare of longtime recovery. The Portuguese suffered from a knock which resulted in a swelling around the right ankle and is expected to subside within a week’s time.
The iconic left-winger has started to train and aims perfection for the UCL Final in Kiev against Liverpool. He is expected to play against Villarreal on Saturday.
The 33-year-old is most likely to feature in the last game of La Liga to catch up with rhythm and momentum in time for the last game of the season, i.e. UCL Final in Kiev on 26 May 2018.
