The ex-Real Madrid man who recently made a switch to the Turin based Italian club, Juventus had earlier discussed what drives him and which factors he takes into consideration while making a decision.

In a year old interview Cristiano Ronaldo can be seen interacting with Marty Smith for SportsCenter ESPN, where he discussed about his rivalries, priorities, and motives which influence his decision-making ability.

Cristiano Ronaldo who played 9 years for Real Madrid and scored 451 goals in 438 games, claimed that he is always willing to do be the best player in the world ahead of all the other renowned players such as Messi, Neymar, Lewandowski, Higuain etc. According to him, the competition is not an unhealthy one which consists of jealousy or envy but the one where they push each other to perform even better and harder.

Often times many players have been indulged in scenarios where they get carried away with fame, money, and attention they get which eventually results in a decline in their career while they even forget to take care of the people whose lives depend on them such as their families.

Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t fall into the category of those players. Infact he claims his family is his priority and he knows that a lot of people’s life is dependent on him and his professional career. Ronaldo also discussed about the advice Peter Lim, the Singaporean billionaire who is also the owner of Valencia CF, gave him regarding the priorities of life.

The full interview can be watched here:

Cristiano Ronaldo who has moved to Juventus now will be presented in the Allianz Stadium on 30th July. and it will be the first time ever the club will open the doors for the fans for one man presentation. There will be a press conference too which will be conducted after the ceremony. The club expects the stadium to be sold out for the event.

Also, this would mean the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner would not participate in the pre-season of Juventus which would kick off on 26th July 2018. Hence, he won’t be facing his old club Real Madrid in FedEx Field, USA where Juventus will play against the current Champions League winners on 5th August 2018.

Cristiano Ronaldo currently holds the world record for the highest attendance for a player’s presentation. 90,000 people came to get a glimpse of the Portuguese on 6th July 2009 when he joined Real Madrid. The record is likely to stand as the sitting capacity of Allianz Stadium is almost half than Real Madrid’s Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. The capacity of Allianz Stadium is 41,507 whereas Estadio Santiago Bernabeu has the capacity of 81,044.
