Alain Migliaccio, the representative of Zinedine Zidane spoke to Journal duDimanche. He talked about the reasons why the former World Cup winner left Real Madrid and hints over his next destination.

Alain claimed that Zidane had been exhausted and nervous after his last season in LaLiga was nothing less than humiliation. However, that was overshadowed by the success in the UEFA Champions League campaign.

“He was exhausted, very nervous, he has decided to live on a sabbatical and he will not retreat, I do not think he will go to England , it’s not his style, I’ve talked to him and he does not like him.”

He reveals that after all the stress and devotion he went through, Zidane is now only focused on spending time with his family at the moment.

Though reports from all over Europe state that Zidane is the favorite to take the job of Manchester United or FC Bayern Munchen. Depending on the outcome if Jose Mourinho or Niko Kovac are respectively sacked by their employers.

Jose Mourinho has been considered a bit safer after his side won against Newcastle United with a dramatic comeback of 3-2. This leaves Bayern Munchen as the most likely club to fire the manager.

The rumored candidates for the Bavarian club are Zinedine Zidane and Arsene Wenger. As Kovac’s Bayern Munchen sits at 6th place in Bundesliga which is not a feature you see most often.

Alain also mentioned another powerhouse club of Europe where Zidane can go in the near future.

“There is a story behind Juventus and its a club of his heart.”

As of now, Juventus are content with Massimilano Allegri. So that leaves Bayern Munchen as the possible next destination of the French coach.

Recently, Bild reported that James Rodriguez had a dispute with Novak Kovac regarding football ideology. The Colombian footballer confronted the coach saying it is not Frankfurt (the club Kovac managed before moving to Bayern). This also makes James more likely to make a return to Real Madrid by the end of the season.
